Christina is a writer and comedienne living in Brooklyn. Her first screenplay Second Sight, a Supernatural Thriller with historical elements, was a finalist in the 2011 Mexico International Film Festival, the 2011 Beverly Hills International Film Festivals Screenwriting Competition, the 2011 Great Lakes Film Festival and a Quarter Finalist in the 2011 Slamdance Festival. Her second screenplay, also a supernatural thriller, Indian Wells is near completion. Her produced original plays include Bodice Ripper, Beast! A Love Story and Jen & Angie which played to sold-out audiences in both New York and Los Angeles in association with the Upright Citizens Brigade. Jen & Angie was an official selection at the 2010 The International Fringe Festival (garnering 4 stars from Time Out NY’s Theater section), participated in the 2011 Women in Comedy Festival, and has also played the offices of OK! Magazine and US Weekly. Jen & Angie has been featured by Page Six, TV Guide.com, KTLA, the Associated Press, OK! Mag, US Weekly, and has been named a must-see by LA Weekly and HX Magazine. Solo shows include Hail This!, American History XXY, Christina Casa: Don’t Cry Out Loud, and EAT THE CANDY! She has performed all over NYC with her now defunct 70’s Pop Country tribute band The ‘Drelles. She was an ensemble member of the Second City New York Showcase SMACK! directed by legend John Monteith. Previous long form improvisation groups include All Things Walter, Character Dog Run and The Book Club which performed a Harold based upon a work of fiction read by the group in advance.
